Loyal Beale not happy with Transfer Bingo

Mick Beale has been watching tapes of last season’s matches to remind himself how good a player Glen Kamara is.

This season the midfielder has started just three matches in the SPFL.

Kamara hit top form during the Lockdown season but with fans back watching matches again his form has returned to the levels he displayed at Dundee before earning a £50,000 move to Ibrox.

With Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent running down their contracts Transfer Bingo has switched to Kamara with Beale happy to play along with the script. Nantes and £6m seems to be a combination that Beale isn’t happy with.

The former QPR boss told The Sun:

If the real Glen Kamara plays football, there will always be teams who want him.

For the last few months for whatever reason, he’s not always performed at the levels he can when he’s played as a starting player.

I watched the game back with Leipzig the other day, and he got a half-assist for the first goal in that game and scored the second, so I know how good Glen is.

We have a fantastic relationship that goes back a long way. I would always want him to be in a Rangers team that I was coaching or watching.

In terms of all the speculation and looking at some of the clubs that are after him, in my opinion I think that that the best version of Glen is too good to play for them.

Kamara faces competition from Steve Davis, Ryan Jack, John Lundstram and Scot Arfield for a midfield place.

How do you half assist? You either do you’re don’t.

  • Bob (original) says:

Beale has got to get his [or rather, Gio’s] team hitting the ground running,

to win – and keep winning,

    …with no new players,

…and with zero patience from the disloyal bears.

Even if that was to happen, a convincing loss to CFC at New Year will have the bears foaming at the mouth again, looking for someone to blame.

    No pressure then?

    Happy days! 🙂
