Micky Beale is hoping to talk Ryan Kent into signing a new long term Ibrox contract.
In midweek Douglas Park informed shareholders that negotiations with Alfredo Morelos and the former Liverpool starlet were unattainable. So far this season the two players have contributed four goals.
Beale has delivered a constant stream of feel-good talk since replacing Giovanni van Bronckhorst despite having seven first team players running out of contract in May.
Most Ibrox fans want to see a complete overhaul of their squad but using his excellent command of manager-speak Beale wants to build his side around the 1-goal winger.
He told the Daily Record:
We don’t want anyone here who doesn’t want to be here. Now, I think Ryan does want to be here. Everything is looking positive but there has just been a huge change at the club.
He wants to be part of an exciting Rangers team that are moving in the right direction. So let’s see.
The important thing is that Ryan looks like he is all in. He looks ready and committed so let’s deal with that initially. I just want Ryan to smile. Take people on, have a shot or cross – then just keep doing it.
I think he has to feel the strength of his coach. I haven’t spoken to him about his relationship with the previous staff here but, with me, he knows he has that.
Now into his fifth season at Ibrox it is hard to see Kent suddenly reinvent himself because the guy that used to manager QPR is now delivering inspired training sessions.
Kent has scored one goal in the SPFL this year, he was credited with a goal away to Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League that involved a massive delection.
This guy Beale is going to be the icing and big fuck off cherry on the banter cake for us till the end of the season!
I’ve a feeling he’s going to work a miracle at The Rangers and that miracle will be to embarrass the support.

Apparently wee Coco has Tillman as the best player at the sevco game yesterday,this was one of the duds the rest of the klan want shipped out of ibrox ASAP.
Oh and now £5 million is to be made available to purchase a player,somebody on the board must have got 6 numbers and the bonus ball on the lottery last night.
