Their fear should be an Aberdeen goal- Listen to the big build up from Hugh Keevins just as Callum McGregor scores

It has almost become a ritual part of any dramatic late Celtic victory- re-listen to Radio Clyde as Hugh Keevins builds his hopes up over the possibility of dropped points from the champions.

In October a late equaliser from St Johnstone meant that Celtic’s season was imploding- until Giorgos Giakoumakis popped up with a stoppage time winner.

If Keevins wanted to have a look at a season imploding he only has to cast his eye towards Ibrox where Giovanni van Bronckhorst has been replaced by Michael Beale.

At the start of the season the Radio Clyde Shock Jock tipped the SPFL title to head to Ibrox based on a ‘pass the parcel’ theory which has saw one club win 11 of the last 12 SPFL titles.

At lunchtime today Keevins was sharing his wisdom in a Clydebank studio with Gordon Duncan, Mark Wilson and Gordon Dalziel.

I think that we can say now that Celtic look like they have run out of ideas. Their fear should be an Aberdeen goal and a complete wreck of an afternoon.

They have tried everything, they have missed sitters, they’ve had good saves from the Aberdeen goalkeeper. Nothing has worked and they are beating their head against a brick wall.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALFLASH

Back on 1 August 2021 Keevins explained to Daily Record readers that Ange stood for Absolutely Not Good Enough. With no footballing pedigree the veteran reporter seems to just set himself up as a means of topping up his pension.

Just when will this dopey auld Jeremy Hunt get it right, lol making predictions before the game is finished with 10 minutes to go,all so that he could tell everyone he predicted it ages before anyone else.
    F**k off ya auld fart

Had the misfortune to hear a snippet of Keevins’ nasal whine as I was flicking through the radio channels in the car today.

He was moaning about the quality of the refereeing – and another dodgy decision against Celtic in the Aberdeen game.

    But his remark was to the effect, [and I paraphrase];

“…the decisions today prove that the Celtic fans’ paranoia has some truth in it…”

What gets me though, is that this antiquated, thick as mince, copy/paster talks with such authority – even when he is making derogatory remarks!

    Keevins doesn’t know what he doesn’t know… which is a lot! 🙂

His desire for Ange to fail means he’s just making an total c*nt of himself on a regular basis now . I say he keeps it up .

You should have a pipe at what that hun message boy Andy Newport from the Record posted on his twitter during the Celtic game then quickly deleted it

  • Robert Downey says:

I don’t know why you listen to him, he’s just a bitter little man, he should be doing his job ( which he’s not very good at by the way) as a journalist and call Aberdeen out for that display yesterday.
