Over the weekend Mainz were being strongly linked but over the last 24 hours interest has emerged from the MLS.

Recent Celtic transfer deals have generally been concluded within a week of interest first emerging.
It appears that a deal may be dependent on the transfer of Giorgos Giakoumakis who despite speculation was training at Lennoxtown today.
Lawwell getting involved in ransfers again? We need a new striker, get the deal done. £3m is chicken feed these days, and easily within our price range.
