Swansea have knocked back a second bid from Ibrox of £1.5m to sign Morgan Whittaker.
The winger turned in some outstanding performances for Plymouth Argyle in League One which has put him in contention for a key role in the Micky Beale Revolution.
On Wednesday afternoon Swansea boss Russell Martin revealed that his club had knocked back a bid to take Whittaker to Ibrox with informed speculation claiming an offer of £900,000 was made.
Beale spent the first week in January looking into the eyes of his transfer targets, more than halfway through the window Ross Wilson is still waiting to conclude his first deal.
Ipswich Town and West Brom are also reported to be interested in Whittaker who is a very good player, possibly the best in League One according to Beale.
