Kris Boyd thinks Celtic fans are kidding themselves on if they believe that Ange Postecoglou will be at their club for the long haul.
Speculation that the former Australian international boss could be about to join Leeds United has been rife in the Scottish media.
Ally McCoist and Barry Ferguson have both offered to transport Postecoglou to Elland Road with Boyd just as keen to see the back of the hoops manager.
One SPFL defeat in 17 months has delivered one SPFL title and put Celtic in pole position to deliver a second despite losing taking just 10 points from his first seven league games.
Boyd and others have had to reassess their opinions on Postecoglou, writing in The Sun it is clear that the former Kilmarnock striker is keen to see the back of the 57-year-old that has revived and rebuilt Celtic:

You have to factor in that the clock is ticking on his earning capacity. Postecoglou is 58 in August. Football, by and large, is becoming a young person’s game.
I don’t agree with that as too many decent operators are overlooked simply because of their age but that’s the reality and he’ll know that himself.
There won’t be unlimited opportunities for someone approaching their 60s, so he has to strike while his stock is high.
He has a young family to look after and going to England would set them up for life. He could quite conceivably earn five times more down there.
It would be insanity for him not to be interested in what’s on offer, particularly as you never know what’s round the corner.
Postecoglou grew up in Melbourne, his family emigrated to Australia when he was just 4-year-old.
Having completely rebuilt Celtic to his liking he could be around for another couple of seasons to see how far he can take an opportunity that is unlikely to be on offer in the EPL even if the salary on offer succeeds his current Celtic deal.
