On Saturday he started off alongside Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Jack, tonight he completed the match in the company of Kenny McLean and Lewis Ferguson.

Out of all the midfielders that Steve Clarke can call upon there is no-one that he trusts more than Callum McGregor. Over the course of three and a half days the Celtic skipper played every minute of the wins over Cyprus and Spain.
