After three months in the job and one defeat Micky Beale has pleaded for unity and asked rebel fans to stick with his side. In less than five weeks Beale faces his first managerial clash at Celtic Park.
The reaction to last week’s Viaplay Cup Final defeat to Celtic seems to have hit a very raw nerve in the Ibrox support who were taken to Hampden in the belief that Beale’s side were going to crush Angeball.

Listen, the fans are entitled to make their feelings known when they do, they support the team at other times fantastically. They put their money in and they come and we’d be a lot worse off without our fans, I fink that’s fair to say.
I would like it if we were all together but I understand at times there’s going to be discontent. When we lose a cup final in the way that we played, I fink in the days after you are going to see a reaction from the fans and it’s important that you see a reaction from the players on the pitch.Â
