One consequence of Celtic’s success in the transfer market could occur next season with the Asian Cup being played between January 12 and February 10.
With Japan, Australia and South Korea taking part Celtic will be one of the best represented clubs at the competition which will be staged in Qatar which will be familiar to Daizen Maeda and Aaron Mooy.
Finally confirmed and will have a big impact on Celtic next season who could miss out on Daizen, Kyogo, Hatate ?? Hyeon-gyu Oh ?? & Mooy ?? for about 20 days after the SPFL winter break ends should those countries make the latter stages of the AC which they should @seanmartinTCW https://t.co/tfceuab6ZN

The SPFL Premiership will have a winter break from January 3 to 19 but the Celtic representatives will be expected to go far into the tournament.
Where a club has three players on international duty they can request the postponement of games but doing that would create quite a backlog of SPFL and Scottish Cup matches.
With two transfer windows underway before the Asian Cup kicks off there will be changes to the Celtic squad but with seven of the Viaplay Cup Final squad eligible for the Qatar event Ange Postecoglou is bound to have those matches somewhere in his plans for next season.
