Out of nowhere Derek McInnes has name checked Ange Postecoglou is a rant against VAR.
The Kilmarnock boss feels that his side was on the wrong end of a couple of decisions at home to St Johnstone on Saturday with the draw leaving his side three points above bottom placed Dundee United.
After the international break Kilmarnock face Aberdeen and Hearts before Celtic visit Rugby Park on April 16 but for some reason a scoffing Ange Postecoglou is in the thoughts of McInnes.
Football Scotland reports McInnes saying:
It’s like VAR was brought in to help and aid the referees, and give them that chance to have a second look at things.
I think we seem to be looking at so many things that aren’t needing looked at again, and so many things we should be looking at again, particularly that penalty kick.
It’s frustrating. You hear Ange Postecoglou and whoever talking and almost scoffing at VAR as if they get nothing. While we, if you look at it, have had zilch. Honestly, it’s ridiculous. We don’t seem to get any breaks at all.
Issues involving Ross County and Dundee United really should be the priority for McInnes.
Postecoglou has been very restrained in his comments on VAR which makes his limited comments carry more weight.
This season Celtic have had seven penalties awarded against them amounting to one third of the goals they have lost in the SPFL, in contrast Micky Beale’s side haven’t had a single penalty awarded against them in the SPFL all season.
Perhaps if McInnes had issues like that to deal with he would understand where Postecoglou is coming from.

I see in the daily sevco today one positive story from BENNY Tavpen about destroying Celtic in the Scottish Cup instead BENNY Tavpen concentrating on the games his new klub have to play before then,then you have the negative story from a guy that worked with Abada previously mouthing off that he knows for a fact Abada is away in the summer,he doesn’t know where to but he is leaving Celtic,not one bit of proof in that article,infact he ends with the quote 90% sure he is leaving.
