His place on the bench at Hampden last Sunday caused untold levels of grief for bears devastated by another trophy loss to Celtic.
During his 30 minute appearance off the bench virtually nothing was seen of Nicolas Raskin but Ibrox fans love a myth or an excuse.
Against Kilmarnock today the Belgian superstar got his start, Micky Beale made four changes to his Hampden flops but it seems that Raskin’s appearance didn’t quite live up to expectations.
Cruising to a 3-0 first half lead should have been the launch for an emphatic win to put a dent in Celtic’s goal difference cushion but it seems that Raskin failed to turn up for the second half.
Killie scored on the hour mark through Jeriel Dorset, Raskin was subbed in the 72nd minute with the second half completely underwhelming.
Raskin has had a month of elite training at Murray Park, Beale has a big decision to make on Wednesday if the former Standard Liege starlet can be trusted to start against Hibs at Easter Road.
Yup. What the fuck did MB say to them? Raskin was diabolical in that second half.

Raskin is too lightweight and needs beefed up can’t tackle , forwards are rank. Kent’s hopeless

That was a decent showing from us
1st 46 we were slick on the ball and Sakala was a real handful at times
Second half Raskin tired badly and we didn’t keep the ball or try to move it quickly for about 15 mins
Cantwell was a clear man of the match
Now onto Wednesday..

As the banner said eye off the ball when we reached 55 same as second half today. — Raskin needs a few months in the gym too lightweight , up front we are rotten and Kent creates fik all

Raskin’s lack of fitness definitely showed in second half. Which is completely understandable and a reason why Beale didn’t start him last week. Cantwell looked brilliant though and is only going to get sharper.

Imagine Lundstram or kamara gave ball away as much as raskin did today they would be slated,

I didn’t see the first half, but from what I seen in that second half, raskin didn’t play well at all. Cantwell and Kent got pass marks

Do they honestly think Ronny would have let Rasputin go if he was any good .
Aw it could be a lot worse for Raskin’s lack of body physique … He could be like Lundstram with the lucky legs ! Lucky they are holding him up …
