Dave Cormack has bottled out of taking the SFA to task over Sunday’s match at Ibrox.

With John Beaton in charge Aberdeen were denied an obvious first half penalty when Connor Goldson spent four seconds trying to wrestle Duk to the ground. The incident was clearly viewed by Beaton, his assistant in front of the Main Stand and Steven Kirkland on VAR.

In the second half Todd Cantwell kneed Liam Scales then raised his hands to the Irishman, Beaton took no action against the former Norwich star.

Sunday’s defeat ended a seven match winning run for Barry Robson’s side, a win would have virtually assured the Dons of third place and group stage European football next season.

Rather than tackle Ian Maxwell and Crawford Allan directly on those issues Cormack opted to comment on a tweet about the broadcasting of VAR conversations between match officials.

I blame the clubs. Fans see it but clubs do nothing. Remember The Gruffalo stamping on three of our players? Beaton said he saw it and didnt think they were fouls. Nobody raised the question of his lack of knowledge of the rules or, worse, cheating.

Lol just wait until it’s a big DECISION from a ref against us in a game let’s say this cup final coming up and it costs us the TREBLE,do you think our club will take the SFA to task, will they F**K so let’s not be having a go at Aberdeen for keeping QUIET as we ain’t going to be any different.
