Sead Haksabanovic has taken a leaf out of Kyogo Furuhashi’s book by getting some pre pre-season training in with one of his former clubs.

While Kyogo knocked the ball about with Andreas Iniesta with Vissel Kobe his Celtic team-mate was sharing more modest company with Swedish side Halmstad.

Back in 2014 Haksabanovic took his first steps in the professional game, making enough of an impression to earn him a move to West Ham three years later but that came to early for the pacey winger.

Spells at Malaga and Norrkoping followed before a big money move to Rubin Kazan but that turned sour when events in Ukraine put football in perspective.

Last August Haksabanovic followed Carl Starfelt to Celtic where he impressed in flashes with his explosive pace without doing enough to hold down a regular place.

With pre-season training starting at Celtic the 24-year-old will be looking to kick on from last season with places on the wing at a premium with five or six contenders.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement, cheers big man.
There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same more than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying every success for Scotland's Most Successful Club.
