Kyogo Furuhashi has told Japanese TV viewers that after a rest and refresh he’ll be returning to Celtic.
As Ange Postecoglou’s first signing from the J-League the departure of the Australian for Spurs has set off concerns among some Celtic fans.
On the back of a 34 goal campaign at club level and a recall to the international squad there are bound to be clubs taking a look at what Kyogo could bring to their club.
It wouldn’t be difficult for Kyogo and his representatives to start angling for a transfer and increased terms but there was no suggestion of that when the striker was interviewed after the Kirin Cup win over Peru.
Kyogo: “Anyway, I’ll get enough rest and refresh myself. After that, I’ll be back to my club, and want to make good preparations for next season so that can brush up various skills and further evolve so that I can be called up again.”pic.twitter.com/j5T17ytPS2

Celtic will be in Japan on July 19 to play Yokohama F Marinos but it will be September 1 when the transfer window closes that supporters will be looking out for.
Brendan Rodgers is expected to strengthen the side over the coming weeks, replacing Kyogo would be a tough task with Oh Hyeon-gyu the only other striker currently at the club.
On Ya Go…. Kyo-Go !!!! ?
Kyo-Go…oooooooaaaaaaaaLLLLLLLL’s – a plenty next season please – Especially v The Sevco Huns !!!!
I strongly predict, Kyogo will be gone before the window closes.
If Celtic get minimum 20M this will be great business for someone who if we keep will have very little resale.
Reinvest the full profit in 2 or 3 areas of the team, this is how we progress.
