Are these the three Celtic kits that Adidas should have produced?

This week Celtic’s social media and marketing team has been fighting a losing battle trying to push the 23/24 home kit from Adidas.

Tellingly the long sleeved version has been missing from the images and video clips, it seems that in-house team have realised that would be a step too far.

On its own one of the three features in the new kit could have worked well but putting them all together has managed to turn a significant number of supporters against what should be a classic kit every single season.

The combination of broken hoops, the contrived stained glass look with the introduction of black will in future years be looked back on as how not to do it in the world of marketing and design.

There is no need to over complicate kit designs. Adidas have managed to come with great training kit, they have managed to conjure up new shades of green on smart designs to winning effect.

The mainly dark 23/24 second kit is smart and attractive, it is wearable unlike last season’s silver/grey attempt.

Perhaps the backlash and drop in sales for the 23/24 home kit will send a message as the design gets underway for the 24/25 kit, stick closely to the design from the Green Brigade Facebook page and watch sales and customer satisfaction soar.

I like the first two from the Green Brigade, but the third kit should be in gold. Black is not a Celtic … colour!
People may still buy the home kit, despite the fact that they don’t like it!

I love the 3 kits from the Green Brigade. I honestly wonder sometimes is there an enemy within who’s designing some of these crass strips . Hopefully they don’t sell and Adidas see sense. The bhoy who designed the 3 strips should be offered a job in the design team.
