Ben Banks of the Daily Record seems to have got carried away with the frenzy of transfer activity at Ibrox.

Six new signings since the SPFL was presented to Celtic in May has gone down a treat with the Glasgow based publisher as they present their army of readers with good news to deflect from another trophy-less season for their beloved Tribute Act.

A year ago Antonio Colak, Rabbi Matondo, Ridvan Yilmaz, Ben Davies and Tom Lawrence were getting the same treatment while Giovanni van Bronckhorst was billed as an upgrade on Mister Gerrard.

Banks is still so excited by the arrival of Colak that he included the Croatian international star again in this summer’s list of stunning signings.

The Record reports:

Michael Beale’s summer rebuild is in full swing after it kicked off with senior men like Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander all departing. Jack Butland, Dujon Sterling, Antonio Colak, Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers have all arrived to try and wrestle Premiership supremacy back into Rangers hands and achieve Champions League group stage qualification.

The latest rumours have linked Antonio Colak with a move to Germany and it’s claimed Beale needs to cut three players in order to commence further with his summer revamp, with stars like Jose Cifuentes and Danilo still on the agenda. But who will stay and who will go as part of this squad cull seemingly on the way at Ibrox? We take a look at the possible runners and riders, with 0 ruling an exit out and 10 making one a formality.

It seems that Colak has been bought and about to be sold this summer with that ERROR also escaping the Editorial Team at the Record.

Should a club be found to sign Colak he will go for an undisclosed fee with significant add-ons. Don’t be surprised if Bayern Munich agree to top up the transfer fee.
