Celtic’s alleged interest in Dominik Livakovic looks like being very short lived.
On Friday afternoon Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports tweeted that the Croatian international goalkeeper was being closely monitored by Celtic.
In the early hours of Sunday, Fabrizio Romano tweeted that a 9m euros deal between Fenerbahce and Dinamo Zagreb has been agreed as have personal terms with the keeper.
When Romano tweets to that depth on a deal you know that it is almost over the line with just the social media content to be completed before release.
Dominik Livakovi? to Fenerbahçe, here we go! Deal sealed between clubs with Dinamo Zagreb for €9m ????
Personal terms agreed, just waiting to exchange documents then deal done.

With the lack of transfer activity at Celtic there has been a focus on the goalkeeping position in recent days, a subject that Brendan Rodgers discussed during a media conference call from Portugal.
Joe Hart has played in 72 of the 75 SPFL fixtures since he moved from Spurs two years ago with little sign of a challenge coming in from Scott Bain or Ben Siegrist who managed a combined three appearances last season in the 53 matches Celtic played last season.
With Hart now age 36 and in the final season of his contract it would be a shock if Rodgers wasn’t looking closely at the goalkeeping position with less than three weeks to go until the start of the SPFL season.
UPDATE: Fenerbahce are leading the race to sign Dinamo Zagreb keeper Dominik Livakovic.
It’s understood the Turkish club made a bid last night for the Croatia No1.
Celtic, Villarreal and Fiorentina have all been interested in the 28-year-old. https://t.co/RCDApS8xAu
