Celtic’s interest in Dominik Livakovic could be revived with Fenerbahce reported to have switched attention to Keylor Navas.

Anthony Joseph of Sky Sports was first to highlight Celtic’s interest in the Dinamo Zagreb keeper who is in the final year of his contract.

That would seem to be the perfect time to cash in on Livakovic who had an outstanding World Cup as Croatia saw off Brazil to reach the semi-finals in Qatar.

Fabrizio Romano was confident that Livakovic was on his way to Fenerbahce but the keeper played lasted week for Dinamo in a Champions League qualifier and seems keen to help his club through to the lucrative group stages.

With a 4-0 win over Astana, Dinamo are on course for a Third Round qualifier against AEK Athens. Reaching the Champions League Play Off round is worth around £5m with Fenerbahce losing patience with the Dinamo stopper.

Turkish website Sport reports:

Continuing to work on the transfer, Fenerbahçe has not yet reached a happy ending regarding Dominik Livakovic, and for now, it has turned the route in a very different direction. It was stated that the team in Yellow-Navy Blue wanted to add the world-famous goalkeeper to their colours.

The future of PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who spent last season on loan with English Premier League team Nottingham Forest, is not yet clear.

It seems difficult for Navas, who has a contract with the French team for one more year, to get the gloves from Donnaruma. It has been reported that the 36-year-old net keeper, who is looking for a new club, is in contact with Forest, as well as Inter from Italy and Fenerbahçe from Turkey.

Joe Hart looks certain to start the season as Celtic’s first choice keeper but into the final year of his contract a decision will have to be taken to renew his deal or bring in a replacement keeper.

Talk of players on the move again apparently Clarke Kent is leaving the Turkish giants he has just signed for a couple of weeks back and is now on his way to Hull another 10% sell on clause for sevco.
On other transfer news big Shirley has signed for Fulham with another windfall in the sell on clause going to sevco,at this rate of sell on clauses this time next year sevco will be billionaires.

Aye well…. They and their Guillibilly fans believe in clauses and no doubt Santa Clauses as they read 24/7/365 of all these comforting players and silverware coming their way from the Scottish rags according to The Scottish blogs anyway…

Clauses and Santa Clauses certainly made them runaway champions of The Scottish Summertime League for sure !
