A report from Poland has claimed that Legia Warsaw will pick up 15% of the ENTIRE amount of any future fee Celtic collect for Maik Nawrocki.
Most sell-on clauses apply to profit only, not the entire fee.
Over the last 48 hours the story has developed from Celtic having an interest in the central defender to reports that the player has undergone his medical with differing reports emerging about the breakdown of the deal.
A fee of around £4-4.5m is appearing quite consistently with Celtic prepared to put more money up front than rival bidders with Galatasaray offering the strongest competition. Union Berlin have also been credited with interest.
Only a select number of people close to the deal will know the precise terms but Sebastian Staszewski of Sport.Internia seems to have sounded out some contacts to get a breakdown of what is involved.
With 54,000 followers on Twitter Staszewki’s views carry some authority.

TRANSALATION: I asked about the transfer of Maik Nawrocki from @LegiaWarszawa to @CelticFC and it was established that:
there was interest from Belgium, Turkey and Italy, but concrete offers only from Celtic and Union Berlin
Celtic will pay €5m (one source says €5.1-5.2m) Payment will be made in two instalments
Legia was to secure 15% of the ENTIRE amount of the next transfer
The deal will be announced on Sunday/Monday
Nawrocki looks to be the first top team ready signing to be made under Brendan Rodgers with the absence of Cameron Carter-Vickers making the signing of a new central defender a priority.
The Polish u-21 internationalist came through the ranks at Werder Bremen before moving to Legia two years ago, if all goes to schedule he should make is Celtic debut against Wolves next Saturday in Dublin.
Isnt it amazing how a player who has not yet signed a contract with Celtic FC , is being used as a cash cow by the tabloid press and other outlets in his NEXT venture ? The poor sod is not a Celtic player , but those posse’s have him moving on to another club already ! Whenever anyone in this country says ‘SMSM’ at any time as a description , I squirm in embarrassment at the very thought !
