BBC Scotland has dropped the SPFL Premiership table from the homepage of their website.
For years the top right corner of the page showed the table but it seems that seeing St Mirren and Motherwell in the top three has made life a little uncomfortable for the state broadcasters.
Giving the Micky Beale Revolution! The big build up has backfired somewhat with the apologists and cheerleaders struggling to come to terms with real football after the excitement and joy of the summer months.
With Kenny Macintyre, Steven Thompson, Alasdair Lamont and Jane Lewis fronting their coverage there is no doubting the loyalties of the BBC Scotland team backed up by star pundits like Kenny Miller, Neil McCann, Rory Loy and recent recruit Lee McCulloch.
Over the next two rounds of fixtures Micky Beale’s side have two home matches while Celtic are away to Livingston and Motherwell but with a four point gap between the two Glasgow clubs it is unlikely that the league table will be making a return any time soon to the BBC Scotland, football homepage.

I’d never listen to them on the radio but I do very much enjoy their pain after Sevco lose a Glasgow Derby so if not in the pub I’ll listen to their obvious pain joyously !
Just watched the Celtic Ghirls get a good win at Aberdeen Women (0-4) and hit the woodwork FOUR times but while they’re seven wins outta seven they remain a point behind Sevco who have played a game more –
You can bet your boots that if BBC Scotland know that then The SWPL Women’s table will be up for sure !
If I paid the BBC Licence tax, I’d be bothered.
The BBC is a joke, so this omission of the SPL Table is laughable! 🙂
That’s been happening for weeks now with the league table only showing from second place down,it was the Evening sevco newspaper that started it off.
As for no penalties awarded against sevco yesterday these refs in Scotland do them no favours,because the same players do the same thing in a European game but then look at the European ref as if he has got that decision wrong,with the sevco player not realising European refs do play to the laws of the game.
Just how many ex Rangers employees are working for bbc.Scotland.
Far too many say all of us Celtic supporters…
