Kenny Miller has described the mood inside Ibrox against Motherwell as toxic.

Just as well the bears got a victory to move above their opponents into third place in the SPFL Premiership table or they’d have been really angry.

The former Vancouver Whitecaps ace turned up at Ibrox on Saturday for BBC Scotland inbetween gigs on Friday, Saturday and Monday on Radio Clyde where he shares his expert insight into all matters.

Like all mainstream pundits he is standing by Micky Beale to deliver trophies to Ibrox but you get the feeling that they have been briefed and will hound out the former Liverpool and Chelsea coach as soon as the final whistle goes on his next draw or defeat.

Miller played at Ibrox under duds like Ally McCoist, Mark Warburton, Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty- famously coming off second best in a 50-50 with Jozo Simunovic while wearing the captain’s armband.

He has experienced of bad times and poisonous reactions on the pitch at Ibrox, on Sunday he got a flavour of the levels of abuse from the media gantry between the Main Stand and Enclosure as Beale’s side hung on grimly against Motherwell.

Listening to Miller on Super Scoreboard discussing the levels of anger and abuse at the final whistle on Sunday, the Daily Record reports Miller saying:

It was justified based on everything that Michael said post-match. He agrees that it was a really, really poor performance and he was asked about the last 10 minutes and he corrected then and said it was from the first minute. He was not happy with the performance from the team at all.

He expects better, and he is not hiding behind any stats of three wins and three clean sheets – he owns that it was a really poor performance. It was toxic towards the end.

I have been in there as a player when you are only winning 1-0 against the lesser level of opposition – even though Motherwell were outstanding – I have been there before and you can feel it. I could feel it in the stands when I was there.

Beale will face the media again today to preview tomorrow’s match against Livingston which gives the angry bears another opportunity to hurl abuse at their manager and players.

Here we go again the fresh fruit&veg man is back in front of the cameras tomorrow to talk about the Livi game.
Now once again the so called ANGRY bears(remember who pay £25,000 a year for that privilege)from the blogs who have media access to the DUD sevco manager have the chance to call him out maybe even for his head, but they won’t it will be all licking ARSE stuff.
The same people on their podcasts and blogs screaming for him to be sacked will be sitting there on a SPONSORED SILENCE.

It must be the highlight of the working week for the scoops invited to attend the pay as you go pressers ? I mean , it’s one big afternoon tea party , isn’t it ? No hassle , no awkward questions , no probing follow ups to the manager’s soft answers . No silly loaded queries ,hoping to embarrass the current Ibrox boss … no doubt there will be cushions and foot stools made available for that super comfy experience of a lifetime to the friendly typists ?

It was beautiful Schadenfreude listening to him of all peepul squirming last night as angry Hun after angry Hun phoned in…

I’ve never ever hidden my hatred for The Scottish Football Media but on occasions when Sevco get beat or scrape a win and The Sevco fans are angry it is a very pleasurable listen right enough !
