Just a week ago Kenny Miller was painting a glorious picture of success for Micky Beale, even after the 5-1 hammering from PSV Eindhoven.

With a full time media gig the former Scotland striker knows the script back to front with every attempt made to play up the trophy challenge from Ibrox while ignoring the reality all around.

Ibrox fans were certain that Mister Beale was going to deliver a highly significant victory, after suffering so much under Brendan Rodgers first time around.

Miller played in many of those hammerings, famously coming off second best in a challenge with Jozo Simunovic with the mental scars evident every time he gives an opinion on Celtic related matters. Success at Ibrox has been a long time coming.

Ahead of last week’s Glasgow Derby, Miller told the Daily Record:

Let me paint a picture for you. Rangers beat Celtic at Ibrox today in the first Old Firm derby of the season. They go top of the Premiership table, two points clear of their rivals across the city.

They face Livingston at home in the quarter-finals of the League Cup – a competition Celtic are already out of. And they’ve got a Europa League campaign to look forward to, in a group that gives them a real chance of progressing to the knock-out stage.

Do you think if Michael Beale had been offered that scenario at the start of the season he’d have taken it? I reckon he’d have ripped your hand off.

Now, saying it is one thing. Doing it, and actually beating Celtic is another. Personally, I think they will. And if they do, that puts Rangers and Beale in a good place going into the international break.

Miller doesn’t have a column in today’s Sunday Mail but his views are available on most radio stations throughout the week.

Next Saturday he should be in the Sky Sports commentary box for Micky Beale’s trip to Perth, any signs of difficulty and Beale will be looking as foolish and uncomfortable as Miller’s column last Sunday.

I’m loving his pain more than any other ex Sevco in The Scottish Football Media –

A turncoat of the highest order – and a turncoat of the highest order away from the team ma wee late granny – God Rest Her – supported Hibernian…

She will be spinning in her resting place with his appalling behaviour…

I’m enjoying his pain far more than any other ex Sevco player in The Scottish Football Media…

A turncoat of the highest order, but the lowest of the low –

He used to support the same team as ma wee granny – God rest her – Hibernian…

She will be spinning in her resting place at his appalling behaviour…

This is why k.miller has a job in the media because its only thick huns that would take it thats the truth why take a job in the media if you aren’t allowed tell the truth about oldco our newco.

    • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Cash John for one – Also their mental and supremist egos – And of course their main drug, to keep onside with The Sevco Huns by putting the boot into Celtic while talking up their bizarre love affair with Sevco…

And Miller is one of the worst – by what’s reported on here anyway !

    • Captain Swing says:

He mostly has so many jobs in the media because of his wife’s connections! Despite a brief stint in the Hoops he is nakedly biased towards all things blue, so he’s hardly a balanced or insightful pundit.
