After a 10 month honeymoon nine out of 10 bears are calling for Micky Beale to be sacked tonight!

It wouldn’t do their club the slightest bit of good but after buying into all of his feel good sound-bites even the Gullible & Deluded can see through the spin of the former QPR boss.

A long term charm offensive through social media culminated with a choreographed visit to Ibrox last October that was a clear signal that he was ready and waiting to take over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

During the World Cup break Beale got his wish, found himself getting the acclaim and attention that he had craved since failing to make the grade at Charlton and responded by telling the bears all that they wanted to hear.

Three defeats to Celtic in three competitions over nine weeks were forgiven on the back of Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin transforming Scottish football, winning a Dead Rubber was confirmation that Beale was the most exciting young manager of his generation.

Today the penny dropped, the bears saw straight through Beale at a shapeless side without purpose, balance or formation. Four defeats to Celtic since mid-February would get better managers than Beale the sack.

When Kemar Roofe was substituted instead of Cyriel Dessers the mood inside Ibrox changed, not for the better.

At the final whistle James Tavernier opted to take the players on a lap of honour while Beale wisely got out of sight.

Tomorrow the former Liverpool u-5’s coach will celebrate his 43rd birthday, Video Celts would like to wish Mister Beale many more happy returns and many more years in charge at Ibrox.

He is already out the door with his P45 on his back pocket, they just won’t announce it until Martinjail or McInnes get nod to leave their klubs.
BBC radio shortbread on Wednesday night felt like it was being broadcast from a FUNERAL PARLOUR,then fast forward to Sunday afternoon 2pm and it was the same broadcast from the same FUNERAL PARLOUR.
If Carlsberg did FUNERAL PARLOURS the BBC studios is just perfect.

I heard from a source that they’re lining up Paul Le Guen for a somewhat unexpected return to iBrox…

….OK, I just made that up.

  • Robert Jenkins says:

His job is safe. Especially when a 1-0 loss at home is such a brilliant result that your team does a lap of honour.

I watched the football last night with Neil McCann and Charlie Mulgrew giving their options on the “Glasgow Derby” the goal that was disallowed after a VAR check was debated, Neil McCann wants the rule changed…no surprise “the rangers” don’t like those pesky little things called rules…. Charlie Mulgrew on the other hand gave an honest assessment he said… the CELTIC player “dallied” to long on the ball but it’s a foul….if a CELTIC player prevents a “the rangers” player from having a shot at goal in the box “it’s a penalty “the rangers” (never heard that before) I remember all those impartial experts say when VAR was cheating CELTIC…. rules are rules…

Beale-In please and we got that literally ! – Beale out… nah not yet until we’re champions again ole,ole !

  • John Copeland says:

Why would they pump Beale at the minute ? They can’t afford to ! The duds and freebies he brought in will be what the next manager will have to work with until next Summer at the very least . If anyone thinks that there will be huge recruits in the January window in downtown Govan way ,then you have not been paying attention ! There is no more dough ! The lights will start to be dimmed inside Ibrox come October with an austerity winter of discontent . Then there will be further pleas to buy more world class confetti ! It’s a continuous cycle of poverty . A merry go round of mis- management of which fans , sporting bodies ,mainstream media and anyone else with a vested interest in the tribute act is continually blind to the truth ….I hope there are plenty of weddings planned in the coming months !
