The euphoria of Saturday’s result quickly gave way to reality as Celtic swept Hearts aside at Tynecastle to restore their five point lead at the top of the SPFL Premiership.

Brendan Rodgers has taken full points from Pittodrie, the Glasgow Derby, the Tony Macaroni, Fir Park and now Tynecastle. Those treats are waiting on Pip Clement, he’ll get to Livingston on November 12 then sample the others in a five week spell that includes a Europa League visit to Real Betis.

Kenny Macintyre and Tom English have high-fived the launch of various Revolutions in recent years, this morning their colleagues online have had to turn to Football Insider and Team Talk for feel good stories tells you how depressed things are for the Gullible & Deluded.

The fact that Fraser Fletcher has worked for both Football Insider and Team Talk this year tells you exactly how credible both publishers are. About as reliable as Succulent Tam with anything soccer related after his horrendous coverage of egg-chasing in France.

Despite the hype Jack Butland sees Ibrox as a career move, a calculated gamble.

He took a pay cut to get first team football, any competent agent will have a get-out clause, possibly around £3m which suits all parties. No-one will be pulling Boumsong type stunts with the former England keeper regardless of the spin from Football Insider.

Having duds like Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers on long term contracts has left Bisgrove and Bennet with very limited options.

Butland’s agent will be on the case alerting EPL clubs and top Championship sides to the terms associated with his client.

If BBC Scotland want to see Clement handed a January war-chest they’ll need to brace themselves for the cut price sale of Micky Beale’s only decent signing- followed by the launch of the campaign for Robbie McCrorie to get a place in Scotland’s Euro 24 squad.

Yes, was initially puzzled why their only successful Beale signing so far,

was being linked with a move, (and presumably with ibrox PR’s OK).

Can’t imagine the keeper is agitating for a move when he’s just arrived.

    Only 2 viable reasons?

Just some positive PR spin for the bears to lap up,
    or
Clement has been told he has to sell before he can buy,

so, he’s not wasting any time to talk up Butland’s availability in January – and price?

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Aye – well they just had to get a negative pack of lies about Celtic in there to pacify The Sevco Huns…

I’ve never heard of these two organisations and never ever will I be even thinking of looking at them –

I guess they have plenty Sevco supporters backing them though !

  • harold shand says:

The way their hyping up Clement after one game

Our total dominance is killing these hun hacks ain’t it

  • John Copeland says:

The Tyncastle game was the front and centre of football in Scawlin yesterday ,yet big Dick Gordon of Sportsound could not wait to tell the nation of the Celtic v the Rangers women’ s result as soon as the programme began . Topping in all off nicely by prioritising how the Rangers were now at the top of the table after the derby win . Oh , and by the way ,he mentioned it right after Celtic dismantled Hearts away from home like it was his duty to take the shine off the occasion . Someone whispering in his ear in an opposite booth perhaps ? Those nice BBC producers ,paid for with public money ……The privileged establishment !

    • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Only certain folk’s public money John – Is That Guy not an ‘Aberdeen fan’ ?

But his boss(es) will be Sevco daft and in The Orange Lodge as well no doubt…

Do as your told ya ‘Dick’ or else !
