A year after VAR was introduced justice has still to catch up with the Ibrox club with Connor Goldson especially carrying plenty of ‘luck’.
Last season Celtic had seven SPFL penalties awarded against them, all of them following the introduction of VAR.
Across the city, covering three seasons and three managers they have still to have a penalty awarded against them.
Kevin Clancy was the culprit at Pittodrie in January 2022 with Lewis Ferguson scoring past Allan McGregor with Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Stephe Glass both long gone from the dug-out since that fateful award.

And yet rangers still haven’t conceded a penalty at home in the league since 2019 and in the league at all since Jan 2022.

Fun fact the random computer gave Celtic Pittodrie, Ibrox, Tynecastle, Fir Park, Livingston away in the fist 9 games while giving Rangers an easier start…Not a problem for the Champions ?
