With one first team start to his name this season Ross McCausland is apparently a transfer target for Roma and Atalanta!
Micky Beale’s Revolution seemed to forget about signing wingers which left Philippe Clement to turn to Scott Wright when he took over as manager.
McCausland has revelled in the role of super-sub which earned him a start away to Livingston where he pulled off an outrageous dive with referee Steven McLean obliging as he pointed to the penalty spot.
Despite his obvious stardust there was no offer of a new contract to the Irishman during the summer from Beale, with his deal expiring at the end of the season January will be critical to raising funds.

A three month campaign convinced Ajax to splash out £18m for Bassey in the summer of 2022, within a year they were happy to cut their losses with the defender shifted on to Fulham.
There is virtually no transfer interest in the current Ibrox squad but the Record reports:
Rangers youngster Ross McCausland is reportedly garnering interest from Serie A.
Record Sport revealed the Ibrox kid, who has been handed opportunities under new boss Philippe Clement, is also attracting the eye of scouts from Premier League side Brentford. Now, according to Tutto Mercato, the 20-year-old is also being monitored by Atalanta and Roma ahead of the January window.
McCausland’s deal in Glasgow is up next summer, meaning interested clubs can pen a pre-contract in January with the Italian site reporting a fee of around £400,000 being floated for his services.
With six weeks to go until the transfer window opens McCausland’s agent holds all the cards as his contract ticks down.
