BBC Scotland censor their own in-house blockbuster story

It seems that the web team at BBC Scotland don’t have much respect for one of their most popular and longest serving sports presenters, Richard Gordon.

This afternoon the broadcasting veteran was hosting Sportsound’s coverage of three Premiership fixtures, keeping listeners upto date with the action, the commentaries, previews and the after-match reactions.

It is a demanding gig, not for the faint hearted or the sensationalist which makes the decision to snub the story from Gordon’s Press and Journal column all the more difficult to fathom.

If he can be trusted with six hours of live broadcasting why isn’t his carefully put together piece on the ‘remarkable’ 68 match (now 69) run of no Scottish referee awarding a penalty against the Ibrox Tribute Act in the SPFL not included in the Gossip round up?

They are hardly overloaded with blockbuster news, any time you include ‘news’ from Football Insider it is a sign of desperation.

Perhaps the fact that Kenny Macintyre and Tom English wouldn’t dare go near the biggest issue in football is a warning to the website team that Gordon is heading on the Jim Spence road towards becoming an Internet Bampot with his P&J column strictly out of bounds for the state broadcaster.

The SPFL are a laughing stock of every other football organisation in the world.
That’s why no-one says anything about it. It’s totally embarrassing for Scottish football, VAR always seems to go their way, hand balls, pulling of shirts nothing said but every other club get penalties against them. Surely every other club must be fed up with it. If they have been complaining the SPFL are just ignoring everyone

Beyond the clear cheating (which I’ll never accept), if The Glasgow Celtic (1888) and Sevco (2012) Ltd get similar results then the local derby at the end of the month could finish ‘them’ and head us into another League Title. Oh, what a lovely war!
Hail! Hail! Tae THAT! (We’re in CL groups and Sevco is finished)
Of course Sevco 2 will ‘still’ be ‘rangers’…….Bwwaaaa, hahahahahahahahahahahaah!

And the silence on this issue from our own board is deafing or hilarious laughter as demonstrated at the AGM. I think we have big problems with this board on the horizon they are dismissive of supporters concerns and out of touch with the majority of fans.
