Gutted Clement floored by new injury double blow

On Tuesday Philippe Clement told Sevco shareholders how he was going to eliminate his squads injury problems.

At today’s media conference he revealed that Danilo and Tom Lawrence won’t play again this year with the Brazilian facing the prospect of requiring surgery on his knee.

Ryan Jack, Nico Raskin and Scott Wright won’t face Dundee tomorrow due to injury, no update was offered on Borna Barisic who missed the win over Hearts due to injury.

Danilo has hardly been banging them in around goal but he is a clear upgrade on Cyriel Dessers who will come back into contention for the striking role as well as moving Abdallah Sima in from the wing.

Tom (Lawrence) will be out for sure until the winter break, and Danilo for sure will be out for that time so that is not so good.
