Back in the springtime of 2020 Ally McCoist was overflowing in that cocktail of anger and paranoia.
With the world in lockdown and public events banned until further notice the former Rangers boss was outraged that SPFL clubs had voted to end the 2019/20 season early and decide the four leagues based on average points per match.
It was a tough call but it released the prize money pay outs to clubs unsure when they would see another paying supporter or serve up a hospitality package.
The decision also spared Steven Gerrard further humiliation, trailing Celtic by 13 points he had just watched Hamilton Accies win at Ibrox with James Tavernier explaining in the club programme how he couldn’t cope with being under pressure.
In common with most of the Gullible & Deluded McCoist turned a pandemic into a conspiracy to dent the Ibrox Tribute Act from a trophy that they had never won.

Given the facts of one club being on a 71 match run without having a penalty awarded against them in the SPFL McCoist slipped into his well served deflection mode.
Rather than address penalties conceded the cheeky chappy opted to talk about penalties being awarded to the clubs that attack most.
Integrity of Scottish officials? Conspiracy claims? From the guy who wanted an SFA Judicial Panel’s names made public, so a baying mob could go after them. He’s a fkn ? https://t.co/3pys3TL1RP

who is this we he mentions ? surely not the club he walked away from leaving behind a complete shambles ?
We all saw what McCoist really is – behind his public mask.
He should just stick to his gardening,
where talking absolute p!sh is not required.
It’s all pre publicity for his TNT Sports co- commentary snooze fest on Thursday . There is no such thing as bad publicity especially when you are appearing or talking horse manure on the TV . Everything is calculated for optimum attention …publicity junkies !
