Alexandro Bernabei has posted a story on Instagram suggesting that he is in line to play against Ross County today.
The defender has been restricted to four appearances off the bench this season but injury to Greg Taylor has opened up a vacancy at left-back.
Liam Scales and Mitchel Frame are the other options but Bernabei has more experience in that position than the others after 19 appearances last season deputising for Taylor.
At the start of this season Bernabei got off on the wrong footing with Brendan Rodgers when he slept in for a team meeting, that resulted in him watching the first match of the season from the stand.
Taylor has played in all 30 matches so far this season but picked up a calf injury late on during the Scottish Cup win over Buckie Thistle.
There has been suggestions that Bernabei would be on the move this summer, probably to Italy but it looks like he could be given a chance today to play his way back into favour- just like Liam Scales did at the start of the season.
