For the third match running the SFA are following their orders from Ibrox by keeping Willie Collum away from their matches.

Since the request was made public Alan Muir and Steven McLean have been appointed for matches involving Philippe Clement’s side, on Saturday the equally staunch David Dickinson will referee the match away to Motherwell.

Collum could have been eased back in as the fourth official or on VAR duty but Chris Fordyce and Don Robertson are trusted for those roles.

Highlighting his exclusion Collum will be fourth official at Livingston against Dundee, keeping an eye on the managers and substitutions with rookie ref Ross Hardie out on the pitch.

The SFA has previous for this sort of exclusion, in season 2018/19 Collum was excluded from matches involving Steven Gerrard’s side for six months after a statement was issued following the decision to send off Daniel Candeias away to St Mirren.

Despite the three statements handed to media partners criticising the handling of the Glasgow Derby no disrepute charges have been issued by the SFA.

Collum could be given any one of three different roles in matches but after a very public request it is clear that Ian Maxwell and Crawford Allan don’t want to again upset their friends at Ibrox.

Sites like this and others must keep it in the forefront of minds of all concerned and if and when it’s presented to get it out there do it and keep pushing the naritive and keep them squirming,

Scottish football in general , and our Club in particular , seem happy enough to let Sevco rule the game…I can’t be arsed getting bothered any more..We get what we deserve.

So, if a manager or player criticises the ref after a match,

and gets called up to see the SFA…

could they simply refer to this lenient treatment of sevco,

and DEMAND the same treatment for themself?

Mibbees BR now has a green. 🙂 light to express his views

about the poor standard of match officiating, including VAR inconsistencies?

    What’s good for the goose…

Chris Sutton”s safety was not guaranteed as a television commentator in Govanland ! What kind of moronic threats to the wellbeing and safety of Willie Collum would be made if he stepped out as an official at Ibrox any time soon ? It does not need the full graphics to figure out the extent of the hatred carried by the Ibrox faithful towards wee Willie .It’s another disgrace and affront to the sport of football in Scotland for this to happen in any generation or age .

  • Scud Missile says:

I see the man across the water is putting it out there that unrest is breaking out between the sevco manager and certain people on the board.
Apparently the sevco manager spoke out of turn by declaring sevco are not a wealthy klub, now it’s handbags at dawn with BEEFY BENNETT and Bisgrove challenging Poirot on his talk of the klub not being wealthy.
Oh dear there maybe trouble ahead.

  • Jinkey says:

Some things just never change ( and don’t see it changing anytime soon unless it’s called out for what it is ) SPFL & SFA Corrupt as feck, and as usual bending over backward to accommodate the Zombies from accoss the water. Hail ! Hail !
