John Hartson has pulled up Mark Benstead for a tweet relating to Dumbarton signing Gallagher Lennon on loan, the son of Neil.
The Sky Sports reporter, who is well aware of the off the field threats made to the former Celtic manager, tweeted that signing an 18-year-old on loan brought an element of WWE to Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie between Dumbarton and the Ibrox Tribute Act.
Lennon Junior joined St Mirren last summer from Partick Thistle, after a month out on loan at Linlithgow Rose he has today moved on loan to Dumbarton.

No one in Scottish football has had to deal with the number of off-field threats that Gallagher’s Dad went through during his time as a player and manager. Some are documented, others are not.
With death threats and bullets sent through the post Benstead should keep his thoughts on WWE to posting anonymously on his favourite message boards.
