Greg Taylor returns to the Celtic side for today’s match at home to his old club Kilmarnock.

The defender suffered a calf injury late on in the Scottish Cup win against Buckie Thistle on January 21 but after a full week of training he replaces Alexandro Bernabei in the only change to the side that beat St Mirren 2-0 last Sunday.

Bernabei drops onto the bench with Rocco Vata missing out on a place.

After pairng Kyogo Furuhashi together from the start against St Mirren it looks like that formation is the one favoured by Brendan Rodgers, leaving Callum McGregor and Matt O’Riley to patrol the midfield.

With two defeats from Kilmarnock already this season the dangers are obvious in today’s match with the Ayrshire side sitting in fourth place in the Premiership table.

John Beaton will referee today’s match with Willie Collom on VAR duty, his first involvement in a Celtic match this year.

CELTIC: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley; Maeda, Kyogo, Idah, Palma

SUBS: Bain, Kuhn, Yang, Nawrocki, Oh, Iwata, Bernabei, Bernardo, Kelly

    Rodgers makes one change…

So should Celtic – Get him to Fuck and that lot of spineless, melluable, made of glass, masquerading as football players that he had foisceted on him by that utterly, utterly useless piece of Fuckin Shite that is Mark Lawwell –

As I type this sitting on the crapper I must actually apologise to the steaming pile of soft shit below the cheeks of ma arse by associating it with Sonny Lawwell…

Never mind – Daddy And Desmond have £72.3 million in the bank (30/6/2023) while we Celtic supporters feel fuckin suicidal at what is unfolding before our fuckin eyes !

Post-match on BBC Sportsound Rodgers says he has the quality required now.
He blames todays result mainly on the defence.
But the team is not improving under him.
So, dissapointing results like this will be sure to follow!

Each week the same. Possession plenty but with 10 or 11 behind the ball nothing comes from it. We now have a proper centre forward was anyone hitting the byline back to him or putting in effective crosses to him??? Can no one simply shoot if nothing on???? Or for god’s sake run at the defence
try to break through but nope a sideways pass. It’s absolutely dire. The old 65 mins 3 subs don’t work anymore as what comes on is worse than what’s taken off. It’s awful. It’s gutting. It’s sad.

    Ange: We never stop
    BR: We never start
How can anyone support this man any longer? It has been one slow decline since the day he walked back into Paradise. Even the new Hun boss has managed to get some semblance of a team out of Beale’s dross while Rodgers has all but destroyed the legacy left behind by Ange. Get him tae f… for f…’s sake!
