Philippe Clement finally lost the plot by telling Sky Sports that his team had secured a very important victory from Celtic.
To those that watched the match the game ended in a 3-3 draw with Celtic still on top of the SPFL Premiership table with six matches left to play.
Clement’s side could go into top place on Wednesday by winning away to Dundee but even if they do it won’t alter the fact that today’s match ended all square at 3-3.

So it’s a very important victory
Apparently it was also a moral victory.
Despite the assistance of John Beaton going the extra mile on the park Clement’s side were unable to get the better of Celtic who had four players booked against none from the hosts and more than twice the amount of free kicks awarded against them.
After hitting a purple patch following the winter break Clement’s side have won only one of their last four matches at Fortress Ibrox.
Following trips to Dundee and Ross County they will have two home matches after the split, almost certainly against St Mirren and Kilmarnock with trips to Celtic, Hearts and one other opponent.

They had the home advantage in front of a full house with no away fans and were favourites and fully expected by their fans and pundits to win today and go 2 clear with a game in hand
Got booed and jeered by the crowd from the 7th minute right up until half time , then they were gifted a penalty that got them back into the game
This guy was a few minutes away from the orcs starting to turn on him
Let’s hope that they’re turning on him on Wednesday then…
