Over the last day or so there has been renewed speculation that Celtic will make a move to sign  Michel-Ange Balikwisha from Royal Antwerp.

It is an easy story to come up with, simply return to rumours from the previous transfer window, refresh the details and click on Publish.

A slightly deeper look into the issue and it becomes clearer why Antwerp’s Sporting Director Marc Overmars is apparently keen to get a deal completed this month.

After being injured in July, ending the summer speculation, Balikwisha has made just two appearances for Antwerp, one for their reserve side and the other coming on December 8 when he came off the bench in the 64th minute in the home defeat to Sporting Charleroi.

Since then Antwerp have played three further matches without the 23-year-old winger who is reported by Soccerway to have a muscle injury, the same injury that ruled him out between the 2nd of August and 6th of December.

The winger that Brendan Rodgers needs is someone ready to come straight into the starting side, having two substitute appearances since the start of August alongside two muscle injuries suggests that interest in Balikwisha will be put on hold until the summer.

With his contract running until May 2026 the player and Antwerp are at that delicate stage where big decisions have to be made.

Getting market value in January would be a result for the club, he has barely featured this season and has the clock ticking down on his contract.

Every transfer has many moving parts but with no back-up and competition to Nicolas Kuhn and Daizen Maeda it seems highly unlikely that Balikwisha will be pulling on the hoops as the solution to the lack of wingers while James Forrest is out injured.

So Flip-Flop Trump is still blaming everyone else for his failures,it’s all FAKE these ref’s and people working VAR,his team are always the best in a game be that they win they lose or they draw,he does what Trump does he deflects and denies all the truths.

Lol the other day after being found out by Hibs of all teams,Flip-Flop Trump spits the dummy out, storms into the refs room Beaton of all people and calls him out on decisions against his team.
He has lost the plot calling out Beaton on decisions going against his team in the game, maybe he forgot to ask Beaton why he never sent off 2 sevco players after straight red tackles on Hibs players went totally unpunished, not even a card was dished out to the sevco THUGS.

Aye big Flip-Flop Trump and his FAKE NEWS pressers are so funny,he is a stuntman for big Donald, always someone else to be blamed never his fault or his decisions.

Luis Palma has played both left and right wing for Celtic. He scored against Atletico
Madrid from the right wing. Sunday, against St Mirren, Luis came on at the 83′. Fair Go!
Last season in May 2024, Luis scored the Premiership confirmation goal vs St Mirren.
I think he provided two assists (check) as well. Brendan should get a loan of a winger from
Terence Nova’s brother, who is a Football Club Manager of a fantastic amateur team.
His brother has two players better than Luis and Yang. (Reported by Terence on Joe’s channel). I think the Spanish offer will suit Luis.
