Ryan Lee will referee Saturday’s match between Celtic and Falkirk.
Willie Collum is holding back on the big hitters for the last four rounds of matches that will decide the outcome of the SPFL title.
Lee has only refereed one SPFL match and one Scottish Cup match involving Celtic so far this season.
Back in October he was in charge for Martin O’Neill’s first return. A 4-0 home win that is equally remembered for the decision to ban the Green Brigade for an incident backed by no evidence.
It was a straightforward match to take charge of, Ben Nygren, Scott Arfield and Ethan Ross were booked.
Ross was back at Celtic Park in February for the Scottish Cup tie against Dundee. Douglas Ross gave some very strange decisions on the line but there was one incident that defied belief. And the Laws of the Game.
With Celtic trailing 1-0 Kieran Tierney positioned himself for a high ball in the closing minutes.
CELTIC DEFENDER TIERNEY TAKES KICK IN THE FACE
Showing no consideration for his opponent Cameron Congreve swung his boot at the ball catching Tierney in the face.
An open and shut case of serious foul play, endangering an opponent. Tierney required four minutes of treatment on the pitch before being replaced by Marcelo Saracchi.
Lee decided that Congreve only deserved a yellow card.
In the 89th minute the colour of card meant little. When Junior Adamu equalised in stoppage time the tie went into extra-time. Dundee should have been down to 10 men for the extra 30 minutes.

Chris Graham will be on VAR duty, strangely full-time VAR official Greg Aitken is listed as the VAR assistant.
Kevin Clancy will referee Motherwell’s visit to Ibrox on Sunday. Grant Irvine from Boclair Academy is the VAR official with Andrew Dallas as his assistant.
At least Jens Berthal-Askou knows what to expect.

It only matters when no contact is made and you wear a Celtic top.
I never like nor fu**in trust these ‘Surname Surname’ referees one iota !
That wee c*nt Dallas is never away from from the VAR at Ibrox
