For the second time in a month the ticket system at Celtic has failed supporters.
Recently it was for the Scottish Cup semi-final against St Mirren with fans charged a £1.50 admin fee for the shoddy service.
This morning it was the public sale of tickets for the match against Hearts on May 16, the final SPFL match of the season.
In June 2023 Michael Nicholson declared that being world class in everything we do as club policy.
In his recorded message to the 2025 AGM Nicholson promised improved communications! A new app was on the way, Celtic TV was about to be revamped with a membership scheme being discussed.
Five months later fans are still waiting on Nicholson to deliver. Much like the replacement for Kyogo Furuhashi.
CELTIC FAIL THEIR FANS- THE CELTIC WAY
This morning @CelticFCTickets was under fire. Only problem is that the account has been dormant since 17 May 2025.
World class communications and fan engagement Michael?
Exact same here mate. It’s an utter disgrace.

Celtic have less than 5,000 tickets for public sale to the Hearts match.
The ticket system seemed to be unable to cope with demand. Typical of most areas of the club, even when fans are wanting to hand over money.
With the club swirling in profits complacency and contempt is the norm in every area.
Every employee has either been appointed or promoted by Peter Lawwell or his clone Nicholson.
Nothing at Celtic is world class, not much is competent.
Most clubs in 2026 have functioning ticket systems.
Every club in the top two divisions in England has a ticket exchange system. Four clubs in Scotland have it.
It runs itself, Season Ticket holders that can’t attend put their ticket up for sale. Someone known to the club buys it, the club takes 50% with a credit put into the account of the Season Ticket holder.
That system has been running for a decade at many clubs.
It seems like setting it up is too much bother for Celtic. A bit like manning the @ Celtic FC Tickets Twitter account.
Everybody going mental with the ticketing website and Celtic tickets hasn’t tweeted in just under a year.
World class basics.

From having two tickets in my basket, to now being in a queue with 2228 ahead of me
Trying to get a ticket for a Celtic match is a joke

It was easier getting oasis tickets than Celtic v hearts tickets. @CelticFCTickets is there any department that actually work properly at this club.

That f*ck I no longer need to worry about all this pish pot Jerker any more !
When both teams run out at Hampden for final of the Scottish Cup in May in amongst them will be the next Celtic manager,no not Martin O,’Neill but Neil Lennon, and Liewell even though he’s supposedly away from the club, will be working his magic behind the scenes installing Lennon as the manager, after hw wins Dunfermline the Cup.
This has all the hallmarks of Liewell spewing out of it,he still has influence over that DROSS that sits on our board and they will be taking his advice by installing Lennon as manager, don’t say i didn’t tell you all now,you heard it here first.
Once again the cheap option and the perfect yes man for the board to inflict cost cutting procedures on him without any kickback.
