After getting knocked out of the Scottish Cup by Celtic in March Danny Rohl came up with a cunning plan.
With a blank weekend due to the Scottish Cup semi-finals the lanky German decided to reward his players with a trip to Spain.
The media could describe it as a training camp while the players enjoyed sunny afternoons by the pool and bonding sessions in the evening.
What could possible go wrong?
Ibrox fans have a fear of in-season sunshine training camps.
Steven Gerrard, Alfredo Morelos and Dubai became notorious. One season they switched to Tenerife during the winter break.
Each time they cam back and collapsed.
Instead of team bonding it seems that spending time together cranked up anger between players.
They get to find out each others salaries, old grievances are brought up. Not a very happy family.

Media coverage of the Marbella trip was very limited. Club media released some content which the messengers picked up and shared.
ROHL AND THE CYCLE OF FAILURE
After coming back from his sunshine break James Tavernier was involved in a media event with the Warm Up.
At that stage he wasn’t thinking about a contract, only on five remaining cup finals.
Two days later on Instagram Captain Disappointed was on Instagram announcing his exit from the club.
With no contract offer and no Testimonial Tavernier didn’t really have any control of the match.
It seems that things came to the boil under the Spanish sunshine.
NOTE: Due to his delicate hairline Rohl avoided the swimming pool during the Marbella jolly.

Rohl is under contract at Ibrox until May 2028. There are serious doubts among Ibrox fans over whether he should be allowed to start next season.
Not being Russell Martin is no longer justification for the former Sheffield Wednesday manager.
The big match defeats are piling up on Rohl.
If he loses to Celtic on Sunday there might be no way back with defeat confirming third place in the final SPFL table.

No fuckin way that’s a real pic!! ???
The trip has brought nothing but S-PAIN !
He looks like tourist guide dressed up like from Morocco .
Also is that his wee jockey ? Raskin in one of those photos.
