Kris Boyd can’t find any way to mask his pain and hurt.
A trip to Turkey can sort out your teeth and provide you with a neat weave to slap on your expanded forehead.
But there is no known cure for a football club that is forever also-rans.
Tens of millions have flushed their way through Ibrox in the last 15 years for a meagre return.
When Boyd looks at the SPFL table he’ll see his favourite club sitting seven points behind Hearts.
This season there has been two revolutions at Ibrox with third place almost guaranteed. Defeat on Sunday at Celtic Park will confirm third place with two matches left to play.
The last 15 years at Ibrox:
• Sold for £1
• 1 Administration
• 1 Liquidation
• 1 League Cup
• 1 Scottish Cup
• 1 ‘Closed Doors’ League Title
• £150m+ in losses (newco)
• Watched Celtic win 28 trophies ?
(Could be 30)I hope the next 15 years are equally as painful.? pic.twitter.com/hFS32PKHyE

So Rangers need to approach Celtic Park on Sunday as a game they must win. It’s bad enough finishing second up here, but to finish third would be a huge, huge blow for Rangers. They need to find a way to finish second and see what happens from there.
With Champions League qualifiers, it’s not a given that you’re going to get there (into the main phase), but even if you get those couple of games, it can generate £5million, but also the two games could take it up to about £10m that Rangers could get in in revenue over the summer. It could be huge going forward.
Pre-match Boyd was sitting in the dug-out sharing his expert views with Danny Rohl.
Post match he had no answers as Chris Sutton put the boot into pea-hearted captain James Tavernier. To be fair the Ibrox skipper was said to be disappointed after the game.
THE NEVER ENDING PAIN OF KRIS BOYD
Once again a massive turnover of players is expected at Ibrox this summer.
Rohl finds himself in a similar position to Micky Beale and Phil Clement in the Ibrox Managerial Cycle.
A record of six wins in 14 matches against top six opponents is one record being highlighted by angry bears. They’ve also noticed that there are no Scots on the team sheet.
For months Rohl has been immune from criticism for not being Russell Martin. That card has ran out.
Wearing a club blazer and brown brogues isn’t enough as another season of failure is racked up. Boyd has witnessed them all.
He knows the managerial cycle where being hailed as a genius soon after appointment is followed by demands for a sacking after less than a year in charge.
Rohl has no friends in the media. He gave them hope then failed to deliver. Just like most of his predecessors.
Next season is starting to look ominous. The first batch of fixtures includes trips to Celtic Park and Tynecastle. Not the matches that you’d select for a club, manager and squad of players fragile in confidence.

Whit happened to the 200m+ 49r’s money?
Have they spent that already?
What’s Boyd bothered about a measly 5-10m qualifying money for…chicken feed compared to the billionaire investors.
C’mon Celtic – Relegate The Bastards to third for once and for all on Thursday…
And please keep ourselves hanging on in the race while youse are at it !
