There were more than a few Celtic fans helping to fill up the half empty home stands at Easter Road yesterday.
For a variety of reasons Sunday’s match was one of the easiest to be undercover.
Interest among Hibs fans was on a par with their enthusiasm for a home win.
The three and a half home stands were barely half full as Celtic came to town to turn up the pressure on Hearts.
One small section of the stadium was crammed with noisy Celtic fans. With a few others scattered around the lethargic home support.
Going undercover isn’t that much fun. The whole experience is neutered. It seems that for many the thrill is the challenge is to go undetected.
CELTIC FAN DUPES BBC SPORTSCENE
One of the presenters in Celtic Fans TV took that test even further.
He appeared on BBC Sportscene as a Hibs fan delivering the lines that they wanted as he hoped for a Celtic win!
Am I losing my mind, or is this the guy from Celtic Fans TV being a Hibs fan on Sportscene?? pic.twitter.com/O5oU0vd5Vj

Other than the BLOCK SEVEN Ultras behind a goal there was barely a sound out of the home fans.
It was a game to be endured, not enjoyed. But in the end it was worthwhile. Overcoming opponents on the pitch and in the VAR room.
With the help of David Dickinson, Douglas Ross and Don Robertson the match was far more competitive than it should have been.
Allowing Joe Newell’s goal to stand just before half-time was the most ridiculous decision of the afternoon.
Closely followed by the non-award of a penalty to Celtic when Josh Campbell used both hands to push Ben Nygren out of play.
Any Celtic fans sitting with home fans were bound to get animated by those decisions. They’d probably get tea, sympathy and biscuits from those around them.
Celtic’s 2-1 win keeps them very much in contention for the SPFL title.
The hoops might even have been ahead of Hearts on goal difference had the match officials been capable of doing their job.
With Celtic remaining silent Robertson, Dickinson and Ross could well have further roles to play in Celtic’s title hopes.

Should Celtic demand the removal of Don Robertson from all matches?
YES- He took things too far against Hibs
NO- He made mistakes but is a top referee
