Whether he is the pantomime villain or the village idiot Kris Boyd loves being centre stage.
Even when Paul Merson is questioning his lack of intelligence Boyd hasn’t grasped it.
He has nothing constructive to comment on about Scottish football. Sky Sports offers him a platform to mouth off at Aberdeen, Hibs and Celtic.
Boyd’s entire football life spins around Celtic. Scotland’s most successful club. The one that destroyed his idea of a cosy media career watching trophies being shared out.
The prospect of Celtic winning their fifth title in a row is all consuming for Tarbolton’s greatest export.
Last week at Easter Road he was surrounded by hyped up Hibees wanting to halt Hearts title charge.
Today the home stands were barely half full with almost all Hibs fans prepared to conceded three points today in the hope that Celtic can stop Hearts.
It is rivalry, the lifeblood of football.
Boyd knows that. His dislike for Celtic overwhelms him. Hibs fans feel the same way about Hearts and Boyd hammers into them.

Boyd wants anyone but Celtic to win trophies. He has two runners in this season’s title race.
ONE SIDED BANTER FUN FUN LOVING BOYD
Earlier in the season he got an XXXXXL Hearts top with his name on the back of it. Oh how we laughed, what a character Boyd is.
Tomorrow he’ll be at Tynecastle to see the cousins slugging it out.
Boyd knows that the only guaranteed winner from that match is Celtic. Something has to give.
Celtic fans know it, Hibs fans know it, every fan with a functioning IQ knows it. Even some people in Tarbolton understand it.
There are two weekends left in the SPFL season. Sky Sports will be at Celtic Park for both of them.
Hopefully it’ll be the king-sized cardboard cut out version of Boyd that is wheeled out on May 16.
The last time I was so annoyed with Sky, I watched for 15min before I realised it was a cardboard Boyd……

But watch the dodgy decisions in Hearts,Sevco game when it gets played,all in sevco’s favour,let’s see how McInnes reacts to that.

You’re not kidding Stevie. After his first season I phoned sky and cancelled my sub. “Can we ask why” they said. “Certainly” I replied. “ I’m not giving you another penny to give to kris Boyd or pump into the EPL” bloke I spoke to was welsh and said he understood perfectly.
