‘Sabotaged by these clowns’ ‘full of crap’ ‘half baked commitments’ Brian Wilson is swamped by fan engagement

Brian Wilson was given tonnes of supporter engagement last night.

Unfortunately for Celtic Interim Chairman there was nothing positive to the feedback. Savvy fans can see straight through the empty promises that were reheated and dished out.

Apparently Celtic have been speaking to everyone to improve as a club.

Unfortunately Michael Nicholson doesn’t speak to anyone.

Wilson met with the Celtic Fans Collective on February 18 and promised a follow up meeting within a month. On May 1 the Collective are still waiting to hear back from anyone at the club.

Last night’s Supporters Update only added to the derision of fans for those in charge of the club.

BRIAN WILSON- SABOTAGE OR INCOMPETENCE?

The main question that supporters are asking is whether this season was due to incompetence or sabotage.

Wilson answered nothing. He went round the houses touching on half a dozen different issues without delivering a single answer or worthwhile update.

Back in October Nicholson and Chris McKay promised the Collective a Fan Advisory Board. At the February meeting Wilson was in the dark about that ‘exciting development’.

Instead, out of fresh air Wilson switched attention to the appointment of a Head of Supporter Engagement.

Whoever takes up that post will be as welcome as Mark Hargreaves. Perhaps Hargreaves will take a sideways move. Celtic do specialise on internal appointments. Such is the talent pool available. Or is it the gene pool.

While doing all of this engagement stuff the club refuses access to fan media.

This site has no interest in engaging with anyone that was on board in July 2012.

Other sites and podcasts are keen to restore contact with the club, apparently asking meaningful questions.

At the February 18 meeting with the Collective learned that Wilson had no idea about the reasons for that ban.

Ten weeks later Wilson has still to address the issue.
