It seems that the regular host of Radio Clyde’s Super Scoreboard is being rewarded for his sterling work defending Willie Collum and his blundering group of referees.
Ironically there are no Scottish match officials among the 170 officials called up for the World Cup.
Duncan is a very decent presenter but his credibility has been shot to pieces through the VAR Review.
Every month Collum comes up with ridiculous excuses and explanations to explain the decisions of John Beaton, Steven McLean, David Dickinson, Andrew Dallas, Don Robertson and the rest of Scotland’s ‘top officials’.
With a straight face and clearly scripted, Collum and Duncan carefully select seven or eight VAR decisions from one month of fixtures and give them a whitewash.

GORDON DUNCAN- CONFIRMED AS SFA MESSENGER
Celtic’s win away to Hibs last month was typical.
On the pitch four clear errors were made by the match officials. Possibly five with Celtic having a decent penalty claim in the first half.
Those decisions barely featured in the VAR Review. If similar decisions were made in a World Cup match there would be global outrage.
There is absolutely no way of justifying the handball from Joe Newell for the equalising Hibs goal.
Equally the push on Ben Nygren that was ignored was scandalous. Dickinson and assistant referee Calum Spence both had close up uninterrupted views of the incident.
Robertson had multiple camera angles to review. Every one of them would have shown that Josh Campbell used two hands to push Nygren over. No penalty was awarded.
Duncan’s career is clearly on the up, he is regularly on Sky Sports, they wouldn’t dream of bringing in any of the presenters at BBC Scotland.
But being in-house to such an extent with the SFA converts him from being a presenter into a messenger. Pushing the multiple failings of the SFA.
Another one of his special acts is to get the monkey blue keevins to start of his show with all things negative about Celtic , he throws the git in to the deep end after he waffles on about some crisis or another afflicting Celtic and then dives in to rescue him from the callers after he’s stirred up the shit , blue has set the tone after gd has wound him up , gd makes the balls and gets blue to throw them , a cynical abuse of an useful idiot if ever there was one , if we took the word Celtic from blue keevins gob and vocabulary , the man would be gelded , he’d have nothing to offer , least of all gd who behind it al is as cynical as they come and a master of the dark arts
Hugh is a Celtic fan. The more he predicts against Celtic the better it is for Celtic. And he knows it. You should be rubbing ur hands when he predicts the balance of power changing to the rangers. How that turn out. He is a Jonah. Be thankful.
In other words ‘ Duncan is a useful idiot ‘ to those who have intentionally targeted his services for their own agendas ? Just like tabloid scoop reporters ! Speaking of SFA services ! Did you clock the way the Mens and ladies Scottish Cup winning medals were distributed by Mike Mulraney and the dude wearing the Rangers tartan clobber at the shit hole and a half known as the national stadium ? Medals fed to each host by a dudette …like someone being ‘slipped something ‘ into the hand in the boozer by another who came from the toilet without looking back once ….. shaking hands with each winning player with the other hand ..all done with faux smiles ! The 30 bob display was obviously rehearsed by all for a very long time . It all looked and seemed third rate and typical of SFA standards ….as in cheapskate !
For once The SFA and Collum did well in dealing with The Scummy’s !
