Three Buffoons- the guilty cheerleaders behind the John Beaton pile on

Sky Sports, BBC Scotland and TalkSPORT didn’t hold back as they indilged in the great John Beaton pile on.

None of those broadcasters were bothered about Motherwell, apparently the victims of a travesty of justice on Wednesday night.

The incident and the direct losers were incidental.

All that was needed was something to pin it on.

Sky Sports gave Kris Boyd a platform to rant on. Even at the best of times he struggles to get close to being coherent.

Faced with the possibility of covering a fifth successive Celtic title win the former Kilmarnock striker went into full on meltdown.

Just 10 days after telling viewers to ‘trust the officials’ when Joe Newell twice used his arm to score against Celtic.

TalkSPORT viewers and listeners got to see and hear the real Ally McCoist. Not the cheeky chappy version much loved by English audiences.

McCoist let all of the pain of the last 14 years pollute the airwaves. He was seething.

A horrendous decision that has effectively, I think, embarrassed Scottish  football.

I don’t think I’m letting any secrets out of the bag. Unfortunately, that referee has had experiences with Celtic fans as well – not good ones.

I think he’s a human being. He’s gone over there and that might have been in his thinking as well.

Because he made a decision a few years ago that was against Celtic and the fans turned on him.

There is no more vile and toxic figure in Scottish football than McCoist. Ask Raith Rovers about his actions during the summer of 2012.

SETTING THE ANTI-CELTIC AGENDA THROUGH JOHN BEATON

BBC Scotland naturally can’t afford high profile pundits. Tom ‘House Paddy’ English is the closest that they can muster towards a shock-jock.

The state broadcaster turned to former referees John Underhill, Steve Conroy, Bobby Madden and Des Roache to slaughter a clear cut penalty decision. Beaton has previously escaped scrutiny from Radio Scotland. Celtic fans know all about his background.

There was no variation in what any of them had to say. No probing questions from the Radio Scotland presenters.

Business as usual allround. Only in Scotland.

More of the same can be expected today and throughout the summer if Celtic beat Hearts to win the SPFL title.

It is hard wired into Scottish society, into legacy media.

Now to try and retain a future legacy media has turned toxic with no restraint or balance holding back their anti-Celtic agenda.
