The SFA report into Celtic’s Scottish Cup win at Ibrox details how a Deputy Security Officer was assaulted by a player.
It happened at 3,47 pm, four minutes after Celtic sealed their victory.
Following the scenes of disorder with masked and armed fans on the pitch the SFA commissioned a report on the entire event.
Four months after the match Mark Blackbourne’s Report was published with Notices of Complaint issued to both clubs.
No player has been served with a Notice of Complaint.
The player involved in the assault hasn’t been served with a Notice of Complaint.
While legacy media outlets jumped on the deflection of Broxi Bear they decided to ignore the recording of an assault by one of the players.

Even in that snippet there is plenty of newsworthy detail.
IBROX SHAME GAME BREAKDOWN
Plenty of attention was given to the alleged damage to an LED advertising board.
Ibrox messengers claimed that over £1m, of damage was done with Celtic refusing to pay up.
Tellingly the Celtic SLO was denied access to the damage, a standard practise at Derby fixtures to validate the claim.
Following the match on March 8 all sorts of horror stories emerged about the structural damage to the Broomloan Road Stand.
Incredibly, or maybe not, the full stand was open for the match against Aberdeen on March 21.
Chairman Brian Wilson gave a typically bland reaction to the Report.
Michael Nicholson said nothing.
Wilson and Nicholson have repeatedly watched Celtic employees being physically attacked at Ibrox without any comment or action being taken.
In April 2022 broken glass mysteriously appeared in Joe Hart’s goalmouth during the half-time interval. At the same match Celtic physio Daniel Friel was permanently disfigured by a bottle thrown by an Ibrox hospitality guest.
Despite those issues Celtic welcomed 2,400 Ibrox fans to the May Derby fixture. That arrangement will continue for the September 20 Derby fixture.
Where were the BBC Scottish version’s Alan Preston and Pat Nevin when they were needed for their lightning fast condemnation of fans as the Celtic deputy SO was being attacked by a theRangers thug …like in other matches they were allowed to do so without being rebuked by their BBC bosses ? Yes …very strange indeed !
Curious that the colour of the player’s top wasn’t mentioned?
Might not have been able to identify the player, but the shirt colour would have been obvious at that time / helped to narrow down the search afterwards?
This – significant – omission suggests a sanitised report…?
but, we all know how this SFA ‘investigation’ will go:
a decade of fielding ineligible players at ibrox was ‘excused’ by the blazers!

Obviously we know that was Aroujo.
Why was the player committing the assault number not similarly identified if the report forensically noted the incident .
