  1. This is what happens in an information void:
as the Board continues its non-communication with the support,
nobody knows what the Hell is going on,
and any rumours or speculation become increasingly believable?

And that’s why it’s perfectly believable that MON walks if we don’t qualify for the CL.
Presumably, he’ll be on a huge bonus to qualify.
If we don’t qualify, the support could / should erupt: the final straw?

Doing a sharp exit might be best for MON at that point,
and he can just leave the Board to it…?

    He saved us last season,
but he’s not been properly backed in the transfer market – now or in January?

  2. I wish Martin had gone out in his glory…

Not because I don’t want him as manager…

Because I knew these b*astards would’ve shat on him from a great height exactly the way they did !

  3. Personally I hope the Legend that is MON had the rumoured salary of Brendan’s minus the 30% they demanded to sign the new contract for this season.

I hope it’s iron clad, payable in full if they fire him or if he resigns. No convenient let it be known family illness this time fed to the SMSM when the chronic austerity and cost reduction imposed by PL virtually made his position untenable to achieve any sort of success or progress.

MON is earning his money at the moment as a Human Shield but the football starts next week and the UCL Qualifier is both a line in the sand and a Red Line.

I hope The Stockholm Syndrome he is so evidently displaying does not cloud his judgement to the possibilities of success ( or lack thereof!) and does not ultimately cloud or impinge upon his standing with the Celtic Supporters but I fear for him if he continues to defend and support this Chronic Incompetence and Deliberate Downsizing and Decline…..
