Kasper Hogh has passed his medical and is on the brink of signing for Celtic.
The 24-year-old is close to a 12 million euro transfer from Bodo Glimt which is similar to the fee paid for Arne Engels in 2024.
So far Celtic have only made one addition to their first team squad with Camilo Duran signed from Qarabag.
Hogh is the name that has caught the attention of the Celtic support.
Since January 2025 with the sale of Kyogo Furuhashi to Rennes Celtic have been losing goalscorers.
Last summer Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah were sold with only Shin Yamada brought in.

Kasper Høgh is just one signing away from becoming the most expensive player in Celtic’s history.
Tipsbladet can reveal that the Danish national team player passed his medical in London on Monday ahead of his move to the Scottish champions.
According to Tipsbladet’s information, he has thus set his course for Scotland as planned, where he will sign his contract on Tuesday until the summer of 2030 plus an option for another year.
Once that happens, Celtic will have to transfer 12 million euros, 90 million kroner, to Bodø/Glimt for the deal, and that means Kasper Høgh will become the most expensive player the Scots have ever bought.

Looks like 2 moves in a promising position we had been lacking in.
The board might just be in the verge of surprising us all,it’s not a definite but we are in a better place now than a couple of weeks back.
Should Jota be close to a return,not sure,but him playing alongside the 2 new starts gives me a bit more confidence, well at least for the time being,something positive.
Personally I don’t think Jota looked anything like the player he was when he returned, I know he didn’t get a great run before injury but I think there’s a chance we might never see him play the way he did before.
If he’s fully fit and hungry enough then maybe but I’ve just got a niggle that he might not.
What is for definite … the day he returns and scores .. the waterworks will DEFINITELY flow !!!!
