Italian expert claims that Celtic have made a new offer for Gvidas Gineitis

Celtic are reported to have made a new offer for Gvidas Gineitis of Torino.

The claim comes from Italian journalist Matteo Moretto who has 569,000 followers on Twitter/X.

Gineitis has been linked with Celtic for two months but with the transfer window closing this week speculation is bound to intensify.

Gineitus is has been a midfield regular for Torino over the last three seasons but there seems to be a suggestion that they are looking to raise a transfer fee.

Red Bull Salzburg have been linked with the Lithuanian internationalist but Celtic remain light on midfield options.

The transfer of Arne Engels has left Martin O’Neill short on midfield options. An issue cruelly exposed last week by LASK.
