Charles Green newsThe details of Charles Green’s share issue are starting to spill out after it was published between the more headline grabbing Dundee United boycott and impressive win over Stirling Albion.

None of the business heavyweights appear to have reviewed the prospectus which remains vague in many areas such as who exactly is behind Blue Pitch Holdings.

Green and his boardroom colleagues are certainly being very well rewarded with all sorts of bonus plans in place for the club climbing up the ladder and making it through to the last 16 of the Champions League although three years of audited accounts will be required to turn that dream into reality.

Exactly what investors are buying into remains unclear with plans in place for a holding company to take over the running of the company currently running the football club.

The possibility of on-going investigations from BDO into the liquidation of the old company are covered in the prospectus with STV, The Daily Mail and The Herald all uncovering claims being made by 76 players to an employment tribunal.

Additionally Sone Aluko, Kyle Lafferty and Jamie Ness are taking the club to an employment tribunal for constructive dismissal.

The claim by the Ibrox 67 is being made by the Professional Footballers’ Association Scotland who believe that their members weren’t consulted properly during the TUPE process.

Steven Whittaker and Steven Naismith both mentioned the lack of contact from Green as they explained their reasons for quitting the club at an emotional media conference.

In March the SPFA were hailed as heroes of the day as they negotiated a package of cuts that saw some players wages reduced by 75% in return for cut-price get out clauses in the summer with the package ensuring no redundancies for any of the club staff.

With a claim going in for 67 members against Green’s newco the SPFA can expect their actions to be scrutinised very closely.

The deadline for investing in the Rangers International share issue is December 18.
