Green wants to quit Scotland

Charles Green newsCharles Green wants to take Sevco out of Scotland- but has no idea where.

The  threat to quit Scotland flies in the face of James Traynor’s statement yesterday that: “Rangers will take a seat at the head of the table where, despite the latest insult of being shut out of reconstruction talks, we will act with the good of Scottish football in mind.”

The Yorkshireman’s honeymoon with the Scottish Football League seems to be over with plans afoot to bring in a 12-12-18 league set up for next season.

Having spent much of his time in Glasgow criticising the SFA and SPL the new look league set up proposal hasn’t gone down well with the Scotland’s newest club.

“I haven’t read anything other than what is in the press and if that is what we have sat here eagerly awaiting to transform Scottish football, my advice to the board of Rangers is the quicker we can leave Scottish football the better,” Green told the clubs’ in house television station.

“I can’t see anything that is going to transform the finances, the status or the excitement.

“If this does happen what is the point of us finishing the season? Why should we send players out to get broken noses – like Ross Perry last week – or have players getting surgery when no-one can get promoted and no-one can get relegated.

“We might as well have a winter break now til next August. I can’t see any point in carrying on with meaningless matches.

“In what league do you win a division and then end up playing the same teams again the following season? There is no meaning to it, in reality.”

Any move out of Scotland would require the agreement of the SFA and UEFA providing another association willing to accept a club that has still to produce any audited accounts.

Green admitted: “On first glance, of course, there is nowhere for us to go because FIFA have made their feelings known on cross-border leagues.

“However, we have noted the comments of Standard Liege recently and what Peter Lawwell said at his AGM a few weeks ago when he discussed the changes in Europe.

“Hand on heart today there isn’t an option but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t start looking for an option.

“If all we have to look forward to over the next four years is more madness then we would be failing as directors not to explore the alternatives.”

I”m beginning to wonder if Charles Green and James Traynor are having some kind of competition to see who can talk the most shite ! They’re becoming more and more ridiculous week by week, clowns the pair of them.

  • Well at last chuckles has said something that makes sense, the quicker sevco leave Scottish football the better, or roughly translated, liquidation again and dead again.hail hail, an apple a day keeps the Huns away.

  • Adam says:

See you later sevco, dont expect a postcard…

  • Joe says:

The translation of this is, “now that I was able to get some idiots who used to follow that old extinct club, and have them take out shares in the newest club in the Scottish game, making them believe me that they will be a force one day, and even lying through my teeth saying that they were indeed that old extinct club which used to be called rangers. The suckers bought it and have put money into my sevco which i will now sprint away from as soon as possible”

    Make up your mind Chico

Your were supposed to be happy playing in Div 3
    now you want to leave.

What league exactly have you won, as far as I know your club has won precisely HEE HAW in it’s entire history.

Got to look after your shareholders, surely they won’t lose all their money, not like your club has gone into liquidation. Besides they are all adults, fully aware share prices go DOWN as well as up. If they don’t like it, they can always sell their shares and invest elsewhere.

Now I am sure the SFL / SFA will be happy to grant your wish….as soon as you give the agreed 3 years notice to quit.

Must hurt to know that Scottish Football is ticking along nicely without you. I’m sure other leagues in the world will be delighted to welcome your sectarian bigotry, bullying & childish insults….well Linfield will anyway 🙂

Don’t think anyone in the higher leagues will fall for this cheap threat….seen it all before.
So much for being grateful to the SFA / SFL for agreeing to let your club enter without a full licence or 3 years accounts…gratitude & how to make new friends the Govan cheats way.

When oh when will some intrepid MSM newshound challenge this muppet about repeatedly asserting that old Rangers were demoted when in fact they were liquidated. His holding company’s works team is only playing in the third division because some jiggery pokery was done to fast track it past the likes of Spartans which has faithfully followed all the rules and presented up to date accounts along along.
Oh, and why haven’t the same newshounds “caught up with” Bomber and shoved a mic under his nose to ask “the questions the Ibrox fans want to know”?

  • I am scared stiff of flying. I can not get insurance cover because I am clapped out. I have not the faintest idea how a plane works. But let me tell you this, bhoy, I will fly Charlie and the gang anywhere, anyplace, anytime, anyhow and even crash land if he wants to – about March, April 2013 I hear and from a great height. My only worry is getting off the ground with the excessive baggage weight if the succulent mouth is on board.

I see the poltergeists are rattling the kitchen table again! Even my weans laugh at it now! Not scary monsters anymore. I do wish Celtic, the biggest club in Britain would stop having such a good season and continually releasing tremendous news. It seems to send these malavolent little imps into a door slamming frenzy of attention seeking. I had to turn up the volume on my jinky DVD.

Maybe they will settle down a wee bit when they get a name on their jersey for next season… If they have a next season……If they have a jersey….Why deid men need a jersey I,ll never know……Aw Naw!!! Noo big bad Jabba will come and eat me for talking aboot a rancid historical team in the past tense. Christ! My weans are laughing again.

  • Shamrock hoops says:

Written by James traynor last year believe it or not-

On June 13 he wrote: “No matter how Charles Green attempts to dress it up, a newco equals a new club. When the CVA was thrown out Rangers as we know them died.

“They were closed and a newco must start from scratch although their fans will insist the history will be boxed up with the strips and balls and carried into the future with the new club.”

  • barcabuster says:

Fast track through the divisions was a point highlighted in the Sevco share prospectus. This is an honest question….Does anybody know how sore Chuckie’s chuckies will be, when the institutional investors have tired of kicking?.

  • Ken Dunsmuir says:

My God the man really is a Sh1te. Who but who would take them. Ask the people of Manchester. They would bring nothing to any league, apart from their inbred supporters.
